🎃 Halloween Hijinks at The Village of Southampton! 👻

Our community came alive to Live Life Well® with spooky fun and plenty of smiles at this year’s Halloween Hijinks! Residents, families, and friends enjoyed an evening filled with adorable animals at the petting zoo, trick-or-treating, a costume contest, hot dogs, cotton candy, raffles and live entertainment.

It was truly a night to remember — full of laughter, community spirit, and Halloween magic! ✨🕸️

💗 The Village of River Oaks, The Village of Southampton and The Village of Tanglewood were proud to come together as a Platinum Sponsor for the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation Luncheon in support of the fight against breast cancer.

This meaningful event brought our teams together to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and celebrate continued progress in breast cancer research and awareness.

We were truly inspired by guest speaker Matt Iseman, host of American Ninja Warrior, who shared his own powerful journey with cancer — a reminder of the strength, resilience and hope that unite us all.

Welcome Jamie Torres - Assistant Executive Director

Jamie Torres brings more than 16 years of experience in senior living to her role as Assistant Executive Director at The Village of Southampton, with most of her career spent in luxury senior care communities. She has held key positions including Healthcare Director, Business Director, and Corporate Billing Specialist, giving her a strong foundation in operations, compliance, staff training, and vendor management.

Known for her servant’s heart, Jamie is passionate about helping residents and families feel supported. Having cared for her father, she connects on a personal level with families and understands the emotional challenges of caregiving.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her six-year-old son, Jace, attending baseball games and exploring local restaurants. She also has a sharp sense of humor, loves sarcasm and believes laughter is the best medicine.
