Meet Our Team | Miguel Castillo Santiago, APRN

Miguel has over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive care. Before joining our team, he spent four years managing a variety of acute and chronic urologic conditions. Originally trained as an OBGYN in Cuba, Miguel later earned his RN and Master of Science in Nursing (FNP track) at Miami Regional College.

Passionate about learning and skilled in procedures, Miguel values strong provider-patient relationships as the foundation for successful outcomes. Outside of work, he enjoys playing bass guitar, exercising, and writing.

Meet Brittany Sampson, a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse who has been part of the HMU team for nearly a year. With almost six years of LVN experience, Brittany is currently furthering her education to become a Registered Nurse. She has a deep passion for care management and values the ongoing relationships she builds with her patients. Brittany finds joy in being a consistent, trusted presence for those she cares for and is proud to be part of a supportive virtual team of nurses and coordinators at HMU. She especially appreciates the encouragement and camaraderie fostered by her supervisor, Cassie, and the entire staff.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys reading, learning, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is currently preparing to welcome a baby girl this September and looks forward to seeing her toddler become a big sister. Brittany is motivated by her desire to be a positive influence and role model for her daughters.
