Patients deserve to be heard — not handled.
Whether someone walks in with a list of questions, research in hand, or simply a gut feeling that something isn’t right, respect is the starting point. The best care doesn’t come from assumptions. It comes from conversation.
Medicine isn’t one size fits all — and neither are the people we serve.
At The Respire Institute, we believe informed conversations lead to better care and better outcomes.

Advancing care doesn’t happen by accident — it happens through research.
At The Respire Institute, clinical research is part of how we bring new treatment options to our community. For some patients, participating in a study can mean access to innovative therapies, close monitoring from experienced providers, and compensation for their time.
If you have COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, or other lung conditions, you may qualify for an upcoming trial.

Because better care tomorrow starts with informed patients today.

Thank you to for hosting such a thoughtful, seamless Career Fair. The students were sharp, curious, and genuinely impressive; and the team who ran the day made it feel effortless. We’re excited to keep showing up, staying connected, and building with this campus and more.
And a special shout out to Daniel, our Clinic Supervisor; who absolutely owned this moment. From sharing his journey to clearly articulating who we are and what we look for in future teammates, he represented The Respire Institute with heart, clarity, and confidence. 12+ years with us, and still one of the strongest reflections of our culture, values, and commitment to people.

Breathing shouldn’t feel like a daily hurdle — and Pulmonary Rehabilitation is one of the most effective ways to strengthen your lungs, reduce symptoms, and feel more confident in your everyday activities.
This structured program blends monitored exercise, breathing techniques, education, and personalized support to help you rebuild stamina and improve your overall quality of life. It’s designed for individuals living with COPD, asthma, chronic shortness of breath, post-COVID symptoms, and other long-term lung conditions.
If breathing has felt harder than usual or you’re ready to take the next step in caring for your lungs, we’re here to help.
💙 Call us at 713-464-8099 or ask your provider for a referral to Pulmonary Rehab.
Your lungs work hard — let’s help them work better.

🫣 How dirty is your CPAP machine, really?
If it's been a while since you've cleaned it (or you’ve never cleaned it 🙃), it's probably time for a refresh. Dust, oils, and moisture can build up fast — and that cozy humid environment? A breeding ground for mold and bacteria. Yikes.
Good news: our DME team doesn’t just hand off machines and hope for the best. We walk you through how to clean, maintain, and replace your equipment so you’re breathing clean air every night.
✨ Sleep better, feel better — and ditch the gunk.
📍Need help or replacement supplies? Call our DME department for support.

Restorative sleep plays a vital role in overall wellness and early prevention. When your body sleeps well, it restores lung function, regulates inflammation, and strengthens your immune response—key defenses in maintaining long-term respiratory health.
Poor sleep, chronic snoring, or untreated sleep apnea can lead to oxygen imbalances and ongoing stress on your lungs, creating risk factors that deserve attention.
This month, take inventory of your wellness: rest deeply, move intentionally, and talk with your provider about both your sleep quality and lung health. Awareness starts with observation—and that’s where prevention begins.
Better sleep supports more than your energy—it supports your lungs. 🌙💙
