Dr. Aysegul Sahin is an internationally recognized breast pathology expert and a professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has published over 290 peer-reviewed manuscripts on breast pathology and multiple book chapters on the pathology of breast lesions. She is an executive committee member of the International Society of Breast Pathology and a member of national and international pathology societies. Her research focuses on identifying the morphological features of invasive and in-situ breast carcinoma, high-risk lesion biomarkers of breast cancer progression, and prognostic and predictive marker evaluation in breast cancer.
