I am still healing. I am trying real, real hard to practice what I preach.

For those that don’t know my husband and I were in a car accident in November 2025 with our kids. I had many injuries: bleeding brain, broken back bone, and broken ribs. I needed brain surgery, a hysterectomy, hearing aids and now we think I may need heart surgery. Yallllll God is working on me. This whole time the only thing I can think about is returning to work. I am a nurse practitioner and lactation consultant with a private practice called Bloom.

Maternal health is my passion work.

I must heal in order to be in a position to help others heal.

Please be patient. We have referrals to dope folks that can help you. I will be back real soon.

Love y’all 🌺🌺🌺

Whewww baby I am grateful. My baby Bloom is 14!!! I want to thank all of my Dallas, Chicago, New Orleans, Houston, my dope patients, community partners, my family, my husband, my chirren, my friends and strangers. I am so proud of the work we are doing. It feels so divine. Medical leave has given me time to reflect on how much I care for others and how often I forget about myself. 🖤🖤🖤 we will return but first I must continue healing. Nurse Nikki loves y’all so much. Thank you to all of my family, friends, patients and strangers. This week I had a hysterectomy. Whewww baby.

The virtual clinic may reopen in the winter.

The in-person clinic may reopen in January.

My primary priority is healing….completely. It’s rare that I prioritize my health above my patients.

I can do better. I need to do better. I’m recovering from brain surgery and a hysterectomy.

I need to sit down and rest rest and add a little more rest.

Thank you everyone for the love, support and ice cream sandwiches.

We’re back on every Wednesday at our office! Come join me for worship together, prayer and journal time. The Holy Spirit has put on my heart the importance of my clients connecting with one another. These meetings will be a great way to meet other mothers in care, share birth stories, and grace fully support each other exactly where we are. My intentions are to put aside one day out of the week where we gather and connect to the Vine.
DM me to RSVP.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Let’s talk about nausea 🤢 & vomiting during pregnancy…

Here are five 🖐🏽 tips for relief:

1. Eat Small, Frequent Meals 🍎
Keeping your stomach from getting empty can prevent nausea. Try small snacks throughout the day, like crackers, nuts, or fruits, to maintain steady blood sugar levels and avoid feeling too full or too hungry. The rule of thumb is if you can think you can eat it. Try citrus and salty over sweet.

2. Stay Hydrated with Sips of Water 🥤 (sip don’t gulp)
Drinking enough water can help reduce nausea, but large gulps might make it worse. Sip water throughout the day. You may prefer cold water over room temperature.

3. Avoid Strong Smells 👃🏽
Strong odors can trigger nausea, so try to avoid strong-smelling foods, perfumes, or cleaning products. Cooking easy-to-digest foods (avoid dairy and greasy foods) and staying in well-ventilated spaces may help.

4. Try acupuncture wristbands 💆🏽‍♀️
Acupressure wristbands, often used for motion sickness, apply gentle pressure to the P6 (Neiguan) point on your wrist, which may help alleviate nausea. Seeing a trusted

5. Talk to your provider 👩🏽‍⚕️ . If you are losing weight, have severe dehydration and or can’t perform activities of daily living you may need additional support from IV meds. 👉🏽 Have question, book a visit. Click the 🔗 in my bio
