Brother Dennis Hamilton, our co founder and Executive Director, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 26, 2026—on his beloved Peggy’s birthday. Please keep Shane, Darin, and all the men in your prayers during this difficult time.
Brother Dennis and Sister Peggy dedicated their lives to fulfilling the call of God through this ministry. Brother Dennis loved every person who became part of this work, and we want you to know that you are an important part of its success. One of his greatest joys was witnessing a man who felt broken and lost discover his identity in Jesus—overcoming the lies of the world to become the person God created him to be. Standing Firm Ministries (fka New Beginnings Ministry) could not thrive without your prayers and faithful support. Brother Dennis loved you all with all his heart.

Christmas is a time for gathering with family and friends celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. We enjoyed the day with visits from friends including a couple of recent graduates. It is always good to see them walking in victory!

Unfortunately we still have to cancel the revival meeting Saturday night due to unforeseen circumstances. This suddenly came up this afternoon and we very much apologize for the short notice.
Brother Dennis has asked all of us to press in to the throne for him and his health/healing. We love each and every one and appreciate you more than words can say. Hi everyone,
During one of the storms this weekend, the ministry got struck by lightning. As a result, we have no internet and the ministry phone line is down. Someone is supposed to come out tomorrow to check it out.
So...if you are trying to reach us, we apologize for the inconvenience. We will let you know when everything is up and running again. The lightning hit the kitchen and also blew out outlets in the parsonage/office. Prayers are very much appreciated. God bless you all!
