Welcome to one of the most special parts of my life — my therapist buddies.
These girls have been my lifeline the past few years, helping me navigate both the mental health field and just… life. 💛

And since we’re talking about friends, let’s talk about ADHD in friendship. 💬
Friendship Friday, if you will.

Here are a few things I wish more people understood about being a friend with ADHD:
1. If I don’t reply, it’s not because I don’t care — I probably answered you in my head.
2. I might cancel plans last-minute — not because I don’t want to see you, but because my nervous system said nope.
3. I might send your birthday present the month after or show up late for dinner — but I won’t ever forget what your laugh sounds like or t forget your birthday — but I will accidentally miss your text about what time dinner starts.
4. I love with my whole heart, even if I’m not always consistent.
5. I’m trying. More than you know.
Friendship with ADHD can be messy.
But it’s also full of depth, loyalty, and heart.
If you have a friend who gets it — keep them close. And maybe send them this. 🧠💛

Nobody really prepares you for how messy healing can feel. It’s not a checklist or a perfect before-and-after moment.

It’s forgetting what you’ve learned… and then remembering again.
It’s pulling away when you need closeness, then finding your way back.
It’s loving yourself enough to feel discomfort — and stay with it.

If this resonates, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re just healing.

What’s something you’ve had to unlearn in your healing process?

Wore this shirt today because… well, that tracks 😂

I’m the one who can’t come up with a clever line for the neighbor.
The one who laughs a second too late or forgets how to make normal small talk.
I love deep conversation and hearing people’s stories — but catch me at a party and I’m definitely the one hanging out with the dog and hoping no one asks me what I do for a living. 😂🫣

I used to think this was a flaw. I’d watch my brother charm every room and wonder why it didn’t come naturally to me.
And while I love public speaking, it’s mostly because I’ve studied what I’m sharing — not because I’m effortlessly smooth.

These days, I’m learning to just… let it be awkward.
To fumble, to overthink, to laugh at myself — and still show up.
I’ll always be a little quirky. A little intense. A little “oops that came out weird.”

But I’m here. I’m trying. And if you’ve ever felt the same — I hope you learn to love the awkwardness too 💛

Some Saturdays are for errands and social plans. Others are for quieting the noise.
If you’re not feeling “productive” today, that’s okay.
Your value isn’t tied to output — and your worth doesn’t shrink just because your energy did.
This is your permission to do less, and still be enough.

Hi! I’m Juliet — founder of Hold My Hope, therapist, and ADHD coach.
But also… a human who’s just trying her best most days.

I created this space for the deep feelers. The overthinkers. The ones who are doing all the things and still feel behind. The ones who know how to help everyone else but struggle to ask for help themselves.

I’m here to offer more than coping skills — I want to offer compassion, clarity, and community.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, relationships, ADHD, or just figuring out who the heck you are again… you don’t have to do it alone.

This is a space where mess is welcome. Growth is nonlinear. And your story matters.

👇 Drop an emoji if you’ve ever felt like the “too much” one — or the “not enough” one — or maybe even both at once. You’re in the right place.

Some of the best sessions aren’t deep dives.
They’re check-ins. Messy mid-weeks. Processing a weird conversation. Or just sitting with someone until their body softens.
This week alone, therapy looked like:
– Laughing through a rough day
– Planning how to stop doom-scrolling
– Practicing how to ask for a break at work
– Talking about how hard it is to just exist sometimes
There’s no “right” way to do therapy.
There’s just showing up — exactly as you are.

Honestly? I woke up today and had zero desire to start anything.
The to-do list is to-do listing. My brain’s foggy. My body’s tired.
So I picked one win. Just one.
I drank some water. I took a breath. I reminded myself: that counts.
If your Monday started slow, same.
You don’t need to crush it — you just need to move through it.
Messy still counts.
