Another wonderful set of before and afters from one of our breast augmentation surgeries for this Transformation Tuesday! Swipe right to see the before and after photos!

This is a 50 year old patient who experienced changes in breast volume after pregnancy, which presented for a natural breast augmentation. This patient underwent dual plane subpectoral breast augmentation with 190 cc smooth round MP Mentor silicone gel breast implants. This added natural, smooth, perky volume to her breasts, and she is thrilled with the results! The after photos are 2 years post surgery and show natural augmentation and normal position of the breast implant.

Each reoccurring c-section had caused the previous scar tissue to worsen. Blepharoplasty, eyelid lift, or eyelid surgery is a popular procedure that we commonly perform here at BPS. In their late 30s and 40s, many individuals begin to notice excess skin, as well as “bags” or extra fat deposits in and/or around the eyelids. This can create a more tired or exhausted appearance in the focal point of the face. Fortunately, Dr. Boynton can easily resolve these aesthetic concerns.

What are the benefits?

• provides significant rejuvenation to a facial area that is often very susceptible to signs of aging and exhaustion.
• Reduction or relocation of excess fat around the eyes to create a smoother appearance
• Reduction of wrinkles around the eyes
• Diminished signs of bagginess, puffiness, or dark circles under the eyes

Let’s talk labiaplasty. Many women have noticed excess labial tissue from childbirth, while others have acquired asymmetry or enlargement with changes after pregnancies. This excess tissue or asymmetry, can bother women cosmetically in clothing or out of clothing, and may even cause symptoms of discomfort or pulling.

Did you know we offer in-office labiaplasty? We use both topical and local anesthesia to numb the area which makes the process very smooth without any discomfort.  Most patients like to watch a movie or take a nap during this procedure where we use one of several leading techniques to remove excess labial tissue in a well concealed way.

Otoplasty! Also known as ear pinning or cosmetic ear surgery, is a common procedure that we perform here on both children and adults. She underwent an easy, in-office based otoplasty, under local anesthesia to correct the unwanted prominent appearance of her ears. No hospital or surgical center visit needed! Happy Monday! We hope you all had a great weekend and are refreshed and ready for the week ahead! We are extra cheerful, because today we are sharing this stunning before and after with you all! This is our in-office “mini” facelift, done with local anesthesia right in our office. This procedure has tons of benefits on top of being in-office. It offers premier facial rejuvenation, shorter recovery periods, less bruising and swelling, smaller hidden incisions, and is less expensive than traditional facelifts!
 
This is a typical case with phenomenal results, 6 weeks post procedure. Dr. Boynton performed a SMAS plication and lateral platysmal tightening with lift to jowl, jawline definition, and improvement of neck laxity. Most patients can expect about a week of downtime, which is shorter than with a traditional facelift.

Photos 2-4: This is a beautiful patient of ours, before and after her breast augmentation! She was looking for volume restoration with a natural appearance. This is a standard case of ours, with a great result! With her petit frame, we did a 240 Mentor XTRA silicone gel breast implant under the muscle. This is a smaller implant, but a great example that a small implant does not always look small! The smaller size implants look full and natural on petit women, while not overpowering their chest and frame with a large implant. Many of my patients may not know I’m the son of a well-known Texas modern artist. He was a painter, sculptor, teacher, philosopher, and good person. It is from his sense of detail and aesthetics as well as artistic influence that my decision to become a plastic surgeon came very naturally.

He was one of the seventeen young artists selected for the Brussels World Fair in 1957.

He was honored at the home of the Vice President in the late 1970s for his “boot” poster which is well known in Texas. It and the Texas posters have hung in the Texas Governor’s Mansion as well as many other places. The photo provided is my father being honored with Mrs. Mondale (wife of then Vice President Walter Mondale ) in the late 1970s.

He was mostly an art teacher and has taught still life, acrylic, painting, and sculpture at many universities and workshops throughout the country. Among them, University of Houston, St Thomas University, the Art Institute of San Francisco to name a few.

As a tribute to my father and the inspiration he was for me, I am honored to share many of his original paintings spanning six decades with my patients. Please visit our office and enjoy the beauty of my collection of Jack Boynton original masterpieces.
