We are looking for a friendly, Pharmacy Technician certified in TX to converse with our patients and work in the pharmacy.
We are open M-F 9am-6pm, no weekends. We are an independent, retail pharmacy located in NW Houston.

Job Description:

Processes prescriptions and calls insurance as needed for adjudication issues, coverage, etc.
Counts/pours correct drug into appropriately sized container, labels container and prepares it for pharmacist verification
Processes payment method correctly through the register
Maintains assigned sections monthly by checking expiration dates, cleaning and facing shelves, removing partial bottles/liquids and return to stock bottles from shelves
Compounds medications according to recipe and as instructed
Other duties as assigned
Competitive salary, no weekends, no nights.

** Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License

** Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.

Other qualifications we look for in candidates include, but are not limited to:

** Excellent verbal and written communication skills

** Bilingual/Spanish is preferred

** Ability to work in a fast paced environment

** Strong organizational skills

** Detail oriented and good problem solving skills

** Computer knowledge – experience with Microsoft programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
