-30% Situation Worsened
-22% Stay the Same after Accident

A person with a history of multiple or repeated mild TBI’s or concussions may experience a longer recovery or more severe symptoms. Repeated injuries can lead to ongoing problems with concentration, memory or headaches as well as physical problems, such as keeping one’s balance. Getting a proper diagnosis after you have been in an accident is key to preventing repeated injuries and to starting treatment promptly. If you or a client have been in an accident, contact TBD USA for a non-bias diagnosis!

*Data are US population estimates based on the TBIMS National Database. Data refer to people 16 years of age or older who received inpatient rehabilitation services for a primary diagnosis of a TBI. *

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month! TBD Houston has put together these quick tips to help you stay safe on the road! Remember, Distracted Driving can be a lot more than texting while driving!

According to a Forbes article earlier this year, 3,000 US Citizens pass away each year due to Distracted Driving, which accommodates between 8-9% of all US fatal accidents. In addition, over 500 cyclists and pedestrians in the US per year are killed by Distracted Driving. In 2020 alone, over 300,000 injuries in the US can be attributed to Distracted Driving.

If you or a client have been in an accident, contact TBD Houston for immediate testing!
