woot! woot! just booked for my first-ever float.... be seeing y'all soon! 🙏...well you know, as I'm doing a HAPPY DANCE towards my Float Tank....yay! 🥳
excited! ---> 😁
Remembering good times past and yet to come...
I want to share something wonderful with you all. I have been considering Flotation Therapy for a while now. I chose Infinity Float Center and yesterday was the day!
Being a person who lives with Ankylosing Spondylitis, with a fused spine and neck, and chronic pain from hell, I am limited to what I can and cannot do. I was excited but reserved because I was sure I would not be able to do this or that it would even help. Thankfully I was wrong on both accounts!
The place was the coolest environment I have ever seen, I could have just sat there all day. Stepping inside and closing the door was like being transported to another world, a peaceful world.
I was given a tour and was impressed with the detail and thought that went into play to create this environment, they thought of everything. When they tell you, you don’t have to bring anything YOU DON’T!
I was so grateful for the safety bars on the outside and inside of the floatation tank, because falls that the average person experiences can be life threatening for me. Last year I tripped in my backyard, which resulted in a traumatic brain injury and staples in my head. I find myself now days frightened to do everyday activities.
Alyssa went into great detail explaining everything, and with that my fear was alleviated and my confidence grew. She was so kind and patient something that we don’t experience often. I will admit I was very nervous because simple activities can turn in to major issues or cause extreme pain for people with Ankylosing Spondylitis!
It was easy for me to manage. When I finally relaxed, and the tension in my body began to ease so did the pain. I wasn’t sure I would be able to do the whole hour, but when the music began to play again, I didn’t want it to end.
The society that is blessed with health will not understand this, but the people who live with chronic pain 24/7 will. It was the first time in at least 35 plus years that I was TOTALLY pain free. I have been pain manageable at times but not free of pain since my early 20’s and I am 61 years old.
I sat in the parking lot overwhelmed with emotions and so grateful that for at least an hour I felt relax and pain free, it brought me to tears. I called my daughter so excited and telling her YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! I intend to do this as often as my body and money will allow. I hope everyone will be able to try this at least once in their lifetime, especially those who suffer with chronic pain.
Today I find myself with little tension or pain in my body, and I must admit it’s a wonderful feeling that I will appreciate because I know what it’s like to be in so much pain, that the seconds of your life feel like years.
Please for yourself if you can, give it a try…. What do you have to lose?
One of the MOST IMPORTANT things I want to tell everyone, the flotation tank at Infinity Float Center is like a walk-in closet, which was amazing! Was easy to get in and out of for me a DISABLED person!
Plenty of room to manage for people to get in and out of safely and for someone who can die instantly from an everyday fall that is monumental! Some will think these are just “kind” words for a review, they aren’t…. they are truthful words…
Thank you, Infinity Float Center, for the thought you put into your center, I for one will be forever grateful… till next time!
Sincerely Cookie Hopper

Had a great acupuncture and float session at infinity float today. Definitely helped out on the sore low back. Could definitely tell a difference from walking in to walking out.
Swimming is discouraged... ok I’ll float! 😜
Love this place! Floated Sunday, decided to come back for massage and acupuncture on Monday. Feeling zen again. Thank you!
This was a surprise to me - my bf scheduled my entire day and drove me there from Lake Charles, LA. The experience was great as soon as we entered :) The place is so clean and well-kept! I had a massage with Donna to start, which was amazing and entertaining. She is so sweet!! Then to follow, I got a very detailed explanation of what to do/what to expect while floating and even asked some odd questions that the staff knew all the answers to :) The whole time I was being spoiled, they had no problem letting my boyfriend nap in one of their amazing lounges. Great first experience ~ I will be back!!! Thank you so much 💙💞
I just booked my three beginner float sessions and will have my first float on Sunday. Super excited to try this and really help my self feel well again. I’ve heard excellent reviews about Infinity Float Spa and I’m so stoked!!
Everything about this place is pure awesome. I love getting here early, having tea, relaxing and unwinding before my float. My most recent trip out included a light experience thanks to Lucia Light Houston (very much hoping to see them back at at Infinity Float) and also made use of the muse meditation headband (which is available for use at no extra cost). The float itself is pure heaven and has helped me feel so much better both physically and emotionally.
Today is my birthday and coming here for the first time was my present to myself. Best thing I could have ever done. Be open minded, embrace the stillness and the quiet, and then meet your self for the first time in a long time. No Way to explain it, unbelievable experience. Thank you IFC from the bottom of my ❤️.
Im sure its been asked..I've just scrolled for a while and havent seen it..

Resilience is defined as "the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness."

It can be an innate quality, but also a skill we improve throughout life to help us deal with stress and hardship and all of the challenges life throws our way.

Many of our clients find floating to help them be more resilient, to process their thoughts and experiences, to create the space they need for healing.

You've heard the saying, "You are what you eat", right? But have you ever thought about the emotions behind your food and how it impacts you?

1. If the cook is happy, the energy of the food will be happy.
2. Eating when in a negative state affects the metabolism of the food.
3. Growing your own garden connects you to your food.
4. When you are appreciative of the food you are eating, your body will thank you as well.
5. Eat slowly and with intention to make your meal more enjoyable.

Let's chat about the pre-float shower. This photo always makes us think someone forgot to rinse off their shampoo and body wash before a float, but of course, he's just enjoying a nice bath. 😂

We ask that you always shower before stepping into the float cabin, even if you've already showered at home just before arriving. Here's why:
✅ wash away sebum, the oil that your skin naturally produces
✅ wash away any products you use on your hair, body, or face
✅ wash away any dust or allergens that you collected just walking around
✅ "wash away" the day before you arrived

This ritual is an important piece of your experience. It's not only physically cleansing, it can also provide a mindset shift so you're fully prepared to drift into nothingness.

What if you said "I won't make time for myself" instead of "I don't have time"? How different does that feel? To me, it feels like a punch in the gut.

If it's hard to find time for the things that bring you joy, or peace, or just wellness, try switching those words around a bit. It's uncomfortable. But we often find time for Netflix marathons, endless scrolling on social media, and doing things that don't offer big benefits like taking time for ourselves.

If you practice yoga, you know how sweet savasana (co**se pose) is at the end of a challenging class. Floating is just as sweet, but a whole lot saltier too. 😉

After a challenging day or week (or just life in general!), it's a powerful way to decompress and let it all go.

Have you ever been aware of being aware?

One of the benefits of floating regularly is an increased sense of awareness - being aware of your own physical state of being, your surroundings, and your thoughts and emotions.

For many people, this awareness comes in stages:

➡️ thinking and feeling

➡️ ➡️ noticing that you're thinking and feeling

➡️ ➡️ ➡️ noticing WHAT you're thinking and feeling

➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ noticing HOW you're thinking and feeling

➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ noticing patterns of thoughts and feelings

➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ becoming aware of thoughts and feelings without experiencing them (becoming the witness)

➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ becoming aware that you're aware of thoughts and feelings without experiencing them (witnessing the witness)

So meta. Have you experienced a shift in your awareness since you started floating?

Is floating like using a hot tub?

Short answer: nope.

Long answer: nope, not even close really....

❎ Expect to feel hot in a hot tub. (Good name for it!) It's usually around 104 degrees.
✅ Expect to feel neutral in our float cabins. We keep the water and air around the same temp as your skin (93-94 degrees), so the sensation of the water temperature pretty much disappears.

❎ You sit up in a hot tub.
✅ You lie down and float completely effortlessly with lots of room to stretch out in our float cabins.

❎ Hot tubs use jets to help you ease tension and aches in the body.
✅ Our float cabins use around 1200 pounds of Epsom salt to work its magic on your aches and pains.

❎ Hot tubs are loud and can be splashy when the jets are running.
✅ Float cabins are quiet and the water is still unless you move.

Have you ever considered that a lot of healthcare is handled like work from a mechanic? This is broken, so a mechanic fixes it. We need that.

But we could also learn from what gardeners do. They're always planning and checking, and adjusting, and pulling weeds or trying prevent pests... and pouring a whole lot of love into their little plots of earth to help it grow.
