Dr. Frank Chen's team provides Inpatient Psychiatric Management and Partial Hospitalization Treatment at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. Dr. Michael Barber's Team provides Inpatient Psychiatric Management at SUN Behavioral Houston.

08/09/2023

Dr. Frank Chen and his Team will discontinue inpatient services at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital.

We recommend Houston Adult Psychiatry patients needing hospitalization consider hospitalization under Dr. Michael Barber at SUN Behavioral.

Dr. Chen may consider managing isolated cases at Cypress Creek Hospital; however cases will need to be agreed upon through prior arrangement with Houston Adult Psychiatry.

We no longer recommend hospitalization at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. We will be unable to intervene, aside from prayer, should your loved ones end up being hospitalized at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital.
