Bravo! It was an afternoon of diverse talents and unforgettable moments at our annual Brookdale Galleria Variety Show. There was dancing, drumming, clowning around, poetry, kazooing, and martial arts. We even had several legendary stars make appearances: Sonny and Cher and the Village People! From the heart to the stage, here at our community, we shine the spotlight on our residents’ and associates’ passions. Credit goes to our amazing resident photographer, Ed, for capturing these photos. Behind every great Variety Show is a lot of teamwork. We want to give a shout-out to our crew for making the magic happen – dining, maintenance, housekeeping, programs, and our resident set decorator, Paula. Not to mention our talented resident, Debbie, who served as our stage manager! And special thanks to our emcee, David LaDuca. Cue the applause for everyone!

There's no place like home! Our theater lovers, including grandchildren, experienced the wonderful classic “The Wizard of Oz” at A.D. Players at The George Theater. Bonus – we got to see our favorite violinist, Zachary, who is part of the show's terrific orchestra. Follow the yellow brick road to your own adventure this weekend!

Soon after Golee moved into Brookdale Browns Creek, she looked across the dining table and saw a familiar face. Peggy had worked with her at a local school for more than 20 years, and they were reunited once again! This deli is located in our neighborhood, and it is known for serving in massive portions. Even their menus are huge!
