Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Vision Max 💐
The health and safety of our patients and team members is our top priority. Here are 5 steps our practice is taking to keep everyone safe from COVID19 as we prepare to reopen our office.
With the call for social distancing, screen time is on the rise. The Vision Council reminds us that many people report experiencing discomfort due to digital eye strain. Give your eyes a break with the 20-20-20 rule. For every 20 minutes you look at your screen, look 20 feet away, for 20 seconds.
While you and your family practice good health habits, don’t forget about your vision. Remember: for every 20 minutes of screen time, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
At Vision Max, we are dedicated to the health and safety of our patients, our team members, and our beloved community. The most recent CDC guideline has recommended that all routine eye and vision care to be postponed as part of the social distancing measure to slow the spread of the virus. As a result, we have made the decision to temporarily postpone ALL routine eye and vision care visits until after April 6th.
If you are in need of contact lenses, we welcome contact lens orders and your contact lenses will be mailed directly to you with FREE SHIPPING on all orders. Please stay safe and healthy.
A message for our patients about COVID-19
At Vision Max, the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and and our community is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are committed to being responsive to the needs of our patients as the situation evolves.
We would like to reassure you that although we already utilize standard disease control precautions as outlined by CDC, we are currently exceeding these precautions to further help prevent the spread of this virus and maintain a safe environment for you.
At this time, our office remains open for your optometry needs and ocular emergencies as they may arise. We will be listening to the recommendations of local and state health authorities, and we will advise you of any changes to our schedule.
To help protect the safety of all our patients and staff, we ask anyone that currently feels ill to please reschedule your appointment and to call your physician. This is especially true if you have a fever, cough, sneezing, or shortness of breath, AND/OR have traveled outside of the United States in the last two weeks. We request that patients bring no more than one family member with them into our office during their appointment. A parent/guardian can always be in the exam room for a child’s appointment.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office. Thank you for trusting us to be your optometric providers. Please stay safe and healthy.
