My goal is to yoga and meditation practice accessible, "for the rest of us." What does Yoga for the Rest of Us mean?

My approach is down to earth and accessible. You don't have to be a spiritual guru meditating on a mountain top to meditate. Likewise, you don't have to look like the cover of a yoga magazine to practice yoga. It is my goal to provide ideas, practices, and tools to make these ancient practices accessible to you today. I really super appreciate the support. I taught my last yoga class at the beginning of the pandemic but I 100% believe that yoga is a way of life. It's not confined to the mat. ☮️🙏🕉 Live Your Yoga!

Although, ultimately, yoga is defined by one's practice and intentions, yoga was not created as an exercise. It's primarily a yin practice, designed to prepare one for meditation; designed to "yoke" one with the divine (God, Goddess, Universe, or oneself). The West has given us exercise yoga and beer yoga and goat yoga; while there is nothing wrong with these practices, none of them align with the original intention. Yoga is about oneness and intentional movement and breathing and personal growth ☮️❤️🕉️
