We can stop the rail on the first step, which raises the chair to a barstool height. There are solutions for the rider mount safely. Some clients prefer this.

We design stairlifts for any staircase. Here is a 3 story design we are currently working on. Any turn or large radius turn requires a custom designed stairlift. No two stairwells are alike. They may look similar but in order to keep a chair balanced from point A to point B, every measurement is important.
A curved stairlift with a twin rail is simple in design because the stairlift has less moving parts: one motor with the ability to go one direction or the other while the rail maintains the chair level and balance.
