What is your favorite thing about OTF?
That there are always opportunities that will challenge you just enough to realize how amazing you are even for trying. And when you meet a goal, you can make new ones and have fun!

What is your favorite part of an Orangetheory workout?
I love that it’s never the same thing! These workouts are different everyday. You walk in having no idea if it’s an endurance, cardio, strength or “everything” type of class. Which is always a fun surprise.

Favorite workout song?
“She Knows” Ne-Yo & Juicy J

Quote/mantra you live by?
“If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you”

What impact has OTF had on your life?
Other than a healthier life I believe OTF has pushed me to be better, stronger, faster. Most of all... that it’s ok to start from zero just simply show up, do your best and everything will fall into place. That “dream body” will come true if you believe in yourself.

After stepping away to welcome her daughter in November, Kara couldn’t wait to get back under the orange lights. When she heard Woodlake was opening, she jumped at the chance to return to the workouts, the coaches, and the community she missed so much.

For Kara, it’s the friendships, support, and shared goals that make OTF feel like home. She’s a big fan of Tread 50 and already has her sights set on Strength 50 next! 👟🧡

Orangetheory Fitness

The physiological theory behind Orangetheory is known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). During the course of a session, you will perform focused 10-30 minute intervals that use your entire body and stimulate your metabolism. After each exercise, you will feel increased energy. After the session, your body will continue to burn more calories as it tries to recover from the strong bursts of activity.
