Chickasaw County has openings for Corrections Officers. We offer a great benefit package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance as well as state retirement for full time employees. Full and part time positions available. 12 hour night and day shifts.
Full-time starts out at $26,250 year (roughly 15 days-month, 180 days-year)
Officers perform many tasks in the daily operation of the facility. These tasks include scheduled counts, key and tool control, search for and control contraband, 24 –hour supervision of all housing units, maintain custody, care and control of each inmate, enforce security departmental policies and procedures, provides daily supervision of all meals, recreation, programs, inmate visiting, and control of all inmate movement throughout the facility.
