There's a reason for this. Our body has two main operating modes for its nervous system:

🚗 The Gas Pedal (Fight-or-Flight): This is our stress response. It’s essential for emergencies, but when we're stuck in this mode long-term, it can impact our body's ability to repair itself.

🛑 The Brake Pedal (Rest-and-Heal): This is the calm state where healing happens. Officially known as the parasympathetic nervous system, activating this mode tells your body it is safe. It allows the body to promote functions essential for healing, such as cellular growth and restoration.
