Our February Lunch and Learn was a full house, and we’re grateful for the energy everyone brought to the event! Adam Clay led an engaging session on recreational therapy, highlighting activity‑based interventions that support connection, creativity and emotional well‑being. From board games and music to bracelet‑making with a one‑word mantra for the year, participants left with practical tools they can use with clients right away.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success. If you’re interested in having Adam Clay speak to your group, contact him at adam.clay@uhsinc.com.

Our Community Liaison Laurie Thomas spent the evening at Aldine Middle School’s “Tailgate to Testing” event, supporting students and families as they prepare for upcoming academic testing.

Laurie shared resources and had conversations about managing stress, protecting mental health and building confidence during testing season. We are proud to stand alongside our schools and families to help students feel supported, empowered and ready to succeed.

Celebrating Our Staff This Mardi Gras! 💜💚💛

Today we took a moment to recognize the people who keep our hospital running with compassion, skill and heart. Our cafeteria was filled with color, laughter and a well‑deserved break as our staff embraced the Mardi Gras spirit together.

From festive decorations to joyful smiles, this celebration highlighted the dedication of our team and the community they build each day. Laissez les bons temps rouler. They earned it!
