Let Lone Star Home Dialysis free you from that . By providing Staff Assistance Hemo Dialysis in the comfort of your home . Home Hemodialysis:
Begins by a visit to the patients home, this is to determine where the dialysis will take place. We'll help choose a comfortable area and make sure there is sufficient power to operate the dialysis machine. A device will be added to an existing water faucet to filter water for the machine.
Next, we work out a dialysis schedule to fit the patient’s needs. Patients can choose to dialyze Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. They will be able to pick the time of day that works with their schedule.
No patient training is necessary with home staff-assisted hemodialysis. Our licensed, certified nurse will provide complete care. Our dietitian and social worker will come to you, or schedule teleconferences to review progress, make sure the patient is happy with care, and work out any issues within their scope of care. Equipment, supplies, medication and treatment costs are covered by private pay, or insurance, but Medicare can be used as a secondary.
