Step into the art of altar-making as a living spiritual practice. In this hands-on class, you’ll be guided through the ancient and modern ways of building, activating, and tending to your own altar—whether for daily devotion, ancestral connection, or ceremonial work. We will also smoke cleanse the auric field and all our sacred items & share Tescalate a traditional ancestral drink that comes from Mesoamerican roots, fruit and light snacks. Each person will take home a small starter kit for personal altar.

We will explore:

Foundations of Altar Building – choosing sacred objects, natural elements, and symbols that align with your intention.

Activation Rituals – how to breathe life into your altar, call in the energies you wish to work with, protection and open a sacred space.

Maintenance & Care – daily and seasonal practices to keep your altar energetically vibrant, cleansed, and aligned.

Offerings & Reciprocity – learning the language of offerings, how to give in gratitude, and deepen your relationship with spirit through exchange.

This immersive experience will weave together practical guidance, ceremony, and intuitive exercises so that you leave with not only the knowledge but also the felt connection to create and sustain your own sacred space at home, nature, community & family.

✨ Who it’s for:
Seekers of a deeper connection to self, ancestors, lineage, family, healers, and anyone ready to deepen their spiritual practice through altar work and ceremonial offerings.

✨ What you’ll take home:
A personalized framework for your altar, new tools for activation, and a deeper understanding of how to maintain an ongoing dialogue with the unseen world.

Beat the heat with a refreshing "k'eyem" (coconut pozol)! 😋😍❤️ "K'eyem" is the ancestral drink of the Maya people in Yucatán...

Pozol is an ancestral Mayan drink prepared by boiling corn over medium heat and adding Cal(lime powder) to remove the husk. The Nixtamalized corn is then ground on a Metate or Hand mill to form a masa that is then mixed in water.

K'eyem is the Yucatecan Mayan word that refers to the drink made from nixtamalized corn diluted in water. Pozol can & is also combined with Coconut or Ground Cacao, It is consumed with salt, chile, drunk with diluted honey, or it is consumed alone. Served traditionally in a Jicara.

Pozol was highly valued by the ancient inhabitants of these lands as a nutrient for indigenous travelers. Very refreshing with lots of ice!
