Mission Statement
We honor our youth and their families for all of their unique differences and characteristics. We also respect each person for who they are by celebrating the importance of advocating for diversity inclusion and equity throughout our communities. Our Goal
Our goal is to bring all organizations and our communities together to walk and celebrate diversity and inclusion the first week in October “National Diversity Week” that will benefit saving one life at a time in our communities. We invite the entire community to take part in our walk helping to collect nonperishable food item for the Houston Food Bank that will feed the homeless that is growing rapidly in our communities. In addition, we will be collecting unwrapped toys for needy children ages 14 and under for the Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s 25th Annual Mega Christmas Party. Our Vision
We are committee to collaborating with different school districts, churches, businesses, corporations, sorority groups and partnering with the National Diversity Council, Texas Diversity Council, Communities in Schools (CIS), Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS), YMCA, Hogg Foundation, Transition Age Youth (TAY), Mental Health Agencies, TWC and other organizations to help connect our at-risk high school students with disabilities, their parents and family members with community resources through our Health and Wellness Resource Fair and they will live healthier lives. Community outreach is the key and it will help our families to understand the walk supports diversity education and awareness in our communities.
