Providing support to new and expecting mothers of special needs children

When mothers are informed the child they are carrying is expected to be born with special needs, they are torn to pieces. We not only understand the mixed emotions of devastation, turmoil, and guilt but we also are here to build them back up emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We are here to comfort them in their time of sorrow, uplift them from their depressive state of mind, also recognized as Pre-partum or Post-partum Depression, and equip them with knowledge and understanding inspiring their child to be their very best in life. We give these mothers a sense of direction through helpful information to other resources and teach them not to borrow off of tomorrows hurt but to live life a day at a time. Our hope is to reduce the number of tragedies caused by mothers who is suffering from Post-partum Depression and mentoring parents of special needs children to develop the best support system for their child inspiring families throughout the world to unlock their child’s abilities. This allows the world to experience the grace of their presence, learning that, they as well have, value and need and deserve respect.

Sometimes you don't know where to start. I must admit, it's taken me 14 years to get my son's blood drawn for labs. I hesitated on going to local labs bc I figured they would stick my son multiple times before admitting they can't do it. As a parent, that's just something you don't want to see your child go through. Up until this year, 2018, I never thought and no one ever directed me to a place that could do it. Thanks to Omar at Texas Children's Hospital, it was a one hitter quitter for us. My son was only stuck one time with small needles.

Dont exclude them. Find a way to include them. The exposure, the experience gives them the driving force and leaves them with another memorable moment.
