"I gained about 40 pounds in less than 2 years and noticed my cholesterol had rapidly increased. I decided it was time for a change if I wanted to stay fit and healthy. I felt scared being listed as “obese”. I knew the weight had to come off. I didn’t know how fast I would lose weight and was a bit skeptical, but only 5 months later on this program I am a size 6 instead of a size 12. I found a healthy balance with not restricting myself to certain things I like, such as Starbucks or desserts, but just limiting the amount I consumed. I incorporated daily walking into my routine as well as taking the stairs instead of elevators.

My advice to others would be to find your ‘why’! What is the reason why weight loss is important to you – that is what will keep you going. You will be successful by sticking to the dietary plans provided by the clinic."

If you are looking for some easy, low effort dinners to incorporate during the week – try out this crockpot BBQ pulled pork recipe that can be used two ways and you’ll have two nights of healthy, delicious meals covered!

Here's how to make the pulled pork ⬇️
2-3 lbs pork tenderloin (about 2 tenderloins)
2 tsp each of smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ TBSP Liquid Smoke
1.5 cup chicken broth
1 cup G Hughes BBQ (add after cooking)

Directions
1️⃣ Trim fat and silver skin from pork tenderloins.
2️⃣ In a small bowl mix all the dry ingredients (paprika, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, salt, pepper). Rub over the surface of the pork tenderloins.
3️⃣ Place pork tenderloins in the crockpot. Pour the chicken broth and liquid smoke around the tenderloins.
4️⃣ Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until pork can be easily shredded with a fork.
5️⃣ Once cooked, shred using two forks. Mix with any remaining liquid. Add 1 cup of G Hughes Sugar Free BBQ sauce and mix.

Weight Loss Journey Testimonial ⬇️

I started the program to not only lose weight, but to get my life back and take control of my health. When life happens and you cope in all the wrong ways you have to be accountable for what you did to your body. I’ve been on the program for 16 months. I had 2 setbacks with illnesses, but I never let that be a reason to stop or give up. I have a gym routine that I follow 5 days a week and a meal plan I follow. The biggest takeaway is invest in you, keep going, and look in the mirror and be proud of your accomplishment. Every pound and inch lost is a huge win. Enjoy being an all time winner!
