NASN is coming to Austin this summer, this is a great opportunity for nurses in our area to attend a national school nurse event. Houston will be host to the TSNO state and TSNAA conferences as well as a free School Nurse Summit. With so many opportunities for school nurse professional development, TSNO IV will not be hosting their annual Belle Blackwell conference this summer. Stay tuned for other opportunities to attend professional development with TSNO IV.

Nurses from Region IV attended the TSNO IV Mid-Winter meeting on February 8th for a free CNE and lunch event. Newly elected officers were installed to their positions, including the new TSNO IV President Jennifer Poston. Nurses gained valuable knowledge and CNE credit on the topic of Human Trafficking. As well as learning from each other over lunch. Congratulations to the new President and President Elect who will lead our organization forward.
