Our first half of 2025 stats 📊🩺

Thank you to our incredible team and partners for providing patient-centered, trauma-informed care when it matters most💙

Here is what we have accomplished so far:
✔️ 946 Acute Exams + 964 Non Acute Exams = 1,910 Total Exams
✔️ 1,061 Advocacy follow ups, resources, and referrals
✔️ 469 Adult Forensic Interviews
✔️ 62 Counseling Appointments

You can say NO during a forensic exam.💙 A forensic exam is not "all or nothing". You have the right to stop, ask questions, or decline any part that of the process at any time during the exam. We believe survivors deserve care that is consensual, compassionate, and completely in their control.

🩺 Our forensic nurses are trained to check in with you every step of the way, listen to your needs, and make sure you feel safe and respected, no matter what. You are always in charge of your body. We're here to support!

‼️Please note that declining portions of the exam can have medical or legal impacts, but our nurses will educate you on all your options throughout the exam.

At TXFNE, our nurses are trained to care for patients who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, strangulation, human trafficking, and more.

🩺 Our Forensic Nurse Examiners are licensed nurses with specialized training in trauma informed medical care and forensic evidence collection.

Whether a patient chooses to report or not, our team shows up with compassion, knowledge, and respect for their autonomy. 💚
