Meet James Babaoye, one of our incredible dental hygienists who makes every patient feel heard, supported, and valued. Growing up without access to healthcare inspired James to pursue a career in dentistry. His mission is to educate individuals, especially those in situations similar to his, about the importance of understanding overall wellness. Achieving personal goals and making his family proud makes him smile. 😁
For James, the most important part of patient care is building trust and establishing a genuine connection. One of his most memorable moments at Cosmetic Dentists of Houston was with a patient who had a deep fear of coming to the dentist due to past childhood experiences. James made sure to explain every step of the process, show the tools beforehand, and offer frequent breaks to help them feel more at ease. Over time, their fear diminished, and now the patient is completely comfortable in the chair, trusting James to do his work without hesitation or fear.
When he’s not in the office, James loves traveling the world to explore new places, create lasting memories, and immersing in different cultures. ✈️
