Meet Ashley!

My name is Ashley Le Grange, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, and Florida Certified School Counselor K-12. I have also founded a local nonprofit promoting leadership of teens around social and emotional health topics. I have run my own business, Mentally Fit Teens, specializing in working with teens, adolescents and their families. I believe in prevention, coaching, mentoring and strengthening families.

I use an unique integration of my work from Brene Brown with cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapy modalities. This therapy is highly beneficial for those dealing with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, shame, identifying goals, relationship struggles, and general life dissatisfaction. Besides working with adults, Ashley also has much success with adolescents and families. She has spent many years working with adolescents to help them unbundle their stress, tackle perfectionism, identify goals, improve their communication skills, improve emotional, mental or academic challenges and prepare for college.

Ashley received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado and her work in the field of mental health is extensive with a strong concentration in teen prevention, alcohol and substance abuse as well as eating disorders.

Throughout the years, she has enjoyed working in middle and high school settings which provided (in part) the inspiration, experience and training to develop an entirely peer to peer prevention program in the form of her top passion, a non-profit organization which she is director and founder of called the Stand UP Foundation. Before founding SUF in 2014, she was a School Counselor for three years at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami, Florida and currently travels all over the world with Hazelden/FCD as a drug and alcohol prevention specialist in schools.
