Shield Bearer is here for people in real crisis and often unseen—the marriage on the edge, the exhausted parent, the teen sinking into depression, the veteran carrying trauma, the survivor finally ready to speak. We provide professional counseling with one firm promise: no one is ever turned away because they can’t pay.
The need has grown, and our resources have dwindled. Shield Bearer is funded by generosity, and right now we need more steady monthly support to keep the doors open and care available.
That’s why we’re inviting you to become a $10/month GEM—an automatic monthly gift that quietly changes lives. Every GEM helps ensure a child, a family, a victim, a survivor, a veteran—someone in the throes of panic, depression, humiliation, or exhaustion—gets the care they need, when they need it.
We’re also rebuilding after a website crash forced us to rebuild from scratch. It should relaunch in about three weeks, and we don’t want that cost to pull resources away from client care.
