Moments that Matter 🩵

Sometimes success isn’t just about admissions, it’s about commitment, communication, and trust.

Recently, we encountered a situation where a patient initially declined Home Health services despite clinical recommendations. Our team remained proactive, keeping the referring practitioner fully informed every step of the way and continuing efforts to ensure the patient understood the benefits and support available.
Although the patient ultimately chose not to proceed at that time, the outcome was still a win.
Because of our consistent communication, transparency, and dedication to patient advocacy, the physician personally expressed appreciation for how we handled the situation. She shared that our commitment strengthened her trust in Varco.

At Varco, we believe strong provider relationships are built on integrity, follow-through, and partnership , especially during challenging situations.

This weekend at Varco Home Health and Hospice, we had the honor of meeting Katy Mayor William H. "Dusty" Thiele!
We connected with Mayor Thiele during community events, such a warm, approachable leader who's clearly passionate about our city and its people. Chatting with him reinforced how much Katy values coming together to support one another, especially our veterans and seniors.
Moments like these inspire us even more to keep showing up for our community. At Varco, we're proud to provide compassionate non-medical home care, skilled home health, and hospice services all available through the VA for eligible veterans helping families keep loved ones safe, independent, and at home.

This weekend reminded us at Varco Home Health & Hospice why serving our veterans is at the core of everything we do.

Standing in solemn honor at the Four Chaplains Honor and Remembrance Ceremony, remembering the four brave chaplains who gave their life jackets so others could live during WWII.
Sharing breakfast and stories with veterans who’ve given so much and enjoying the warmth and camaraderie of steak night at Spring Branch VFW Post 8790.

These moments of sacrifice, laughter, and unbreakable bonds left us even more inspired. Our veterans showed up for us now it’s our turn to show up for them.

At Varco, we deeply care about every veteran and their family. We proudly provide compassionate non-medical home care, skilled home health, and hospice services all available through the VA for eligible veterans.
