A Friendswood client reached out to me, wanting to refer her nephew to my Houston location (𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨, 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴, 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢).

But, she felt comfortable enough to ask if I knew anyone who was good at their work, in his area.

That is the kind of trust I strive to build in my practice. ❤️

It is more important to me, to help my patients and clients get the care they want and/or need… than to try to only keep you in my practice, without passing on useful info that could possibly help you.

That includes:

• supporting my clients (𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴) in their choice to see another massage therapist or chiropractor, if my days, hours, location or style of practice isn’t what is needed.

• also, providing references to others who may be a better fit *or* for adjunct care (𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴, 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘦𝘵𝘤.) when needed.

I gave her two references for therapists I know. 👍

In the end, he has decided he wants to travel to the Houston office. And, I will do my best to help him. 😌

It is a terribly complicated case, which includes three years of severe pain, a rib resection surgery, failed chiropractic care, PT sessions with minimal results and Airrosti sessions which haven’t lasted.

At this point, he is seeking advanced massage therapy and someone who can spend time providing site-specific work. It’s a big portion of my practice.

I can’t guarantee I will be the one to make the difference. But, I will certainly do my best, with the knowledge and experience I have. *care*

I hope to report back in a few months, that this gentleman is on his way to a better life and some beneficial pain reduction.

10/30/2025: Allrighty! It’s taken a bit of effort, but I’ve been able to get all of my cancelled/wait-list appointments back in the schedule, and have left messages for a few who haven’t made it back in the books yet.👍

Below is the roughly ¾ schedule I’ll be working until approximately mid-December.

Please call if you want to come in. I am currently booked out by about 2 weeks.

Sometimes I get something that I really like, that works. I need to be better about spreading that info!

My mom got me one of these pencil sharpeners for Christmas last year ❤️, and I *immediately* took it to work.

It’s been so great, I bought another one for home. 😊

Important road construction 🚧 note:

When coming to the office, there is construction at Beverly Hill Street and Chimney Rock Road.

The entrance to Beverly Hill is closed on Chimney Rock and this is now a *one way* street (coming from Fountainview and ending at the “T” at Chimney Rock).

If you are coming to the office from I59, you will need to go to Richmond and make a U-Turn down there, and then come back down Chimney Rick to turn into our office complex… or stay on the feeder and travel behind the building on Bearing, to come back around to the building.

It’ll be nice when the construction is complete. 👍

Once again, we’d like to thank you for your prayers, kind words, thoughtful offerings and patience. We really feel loved. ❤️

Manfred has been transferred to the post-acute physical therapy hospital and is healing well.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐰:

• I’ll start to reschedule everyone this coming week, prior to my expected return to work.

Rest assured, while we all know the rent won’t pay itself… it is still *most important to me*, that I help you get back into the schedule, on (𝑜𝑟 𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑜) the day/time you prefer.

I *really do* look over the whole appointment book like a giant puzzle, keeping in mind where everyone usually has their regular appointments.

Then, I block out the spaces I think you may pick and lightly pencil you in (𝑤𝘩𝑒𝘯 𝘱𝑜𝘴𝑠𝘪𝑏𝘭𝑒), until we speak and confirm your appointment.

I definitely don’t offer a free-for-all, in regard to the rescheduling process.

Instead, I try to reach out to each of you, one at a time, and discuss your scheduling needs 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 moving on to the next person.

This makes it easier for me to have your best liked appointment available for you, when I can. And, while it takes more time to do it this way, it reduces general disorganization.

Occasionally, I have to move on to the next person, if I have to reach out a few times with no response. But, that doesn’t happen very often.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨:

• You can help me, when I reach out, by responding in a timely manner. When I can book more than one person in a day, I have a better chance of getting everyone’s appointments sorted out within a week.
