First, we never judge. 😇 Second, however long you choose to breastfeed your baby is a personal decision.
The CDC recommends feeding babies breastmilk exclusively for the first 6 months of their life, then feeding them a combination of breastmilk and solid foods until 2 years of age.
After that point, it’s up to you, mama. But the biggest signs that your child is ready to wean are when they seem unsatisfied after milk feedings, show a strong interest in solid foods and show a reduced interest in breastmilk.
