Grimes County Seizure: Once again our rescue unit is out on the scene for an animal cruelty case out in Grimes county. The Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce caught wind of this as the story broke just last night when a video of the animals went viral. In total 15 dogs were rescued from heartbreaking conditions. The dogs found with 15lb chains around their neck tied to trees in a deserted wooded area. Access to food was minimal, dirty rain water found nearby for drinking, left with only trash bins for shelter. All malnourished, rib cages visible, infested with fleas and skin infections. One puppy was found with broken limbs. It is unknown at this time if this is connected to dog fighting.
