Divya Bharti (25 February 1974 β 5 April 1993) was one of the most promising and talented actresses of Indian cinema. Known for her beauty, charm, and on-screen presence, she rose to stardom at a very young age and is still remembered as one of Bollywoodβs brightest stars.

Born in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra.
Her father was Om Prakash Bharti, and mother was Meeta Bharti.
She studied at Maneckji Cooper High School, Juhu, Mumbai.
Career
Divya started her acting career in Telugu cinema with the film Bobbili Raja (1990) opposite Venkatesh, which was a superhit.
She entered Bollywood with Vishwatma (1992) opposite Sunny Deol. The song Saat Samundar Paar from this film became an iconic hit.
Within just two years, she worked in more than 20 films across Hindi and Telugu cinema.
