Dr. Lintner’s Story
Dr. Lintner is the Chief of Sports Medicine at the The Methodist Hospital in Houston. In 2011 he was named to the US News and World Report list of The Best Doctors in America, and once again listed as a Texas Super Doc by Texas Monthly magazine. He is the the Head Team Physician for the Houston Astros, Team Orthopedist for the Houston Texans and served as the original Head Team Physician for the Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer Team. He is also the Head Team Physician for Lee College, in addition to caring for many high schools in the Greater Houston area.
Dr. Lintner specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, and elbow and is active in teaching orthopedic surgeons the latest techniques. He also specializes in injuries to throwers’ shoulders and elbows, having written more than thirty scientific articles about ACL injuries, thrower’s injuries, and other sports medicine issues.
