Despite affecting half the population, menopause remains one of the most under-discussed transitions in a woman’s life.

There’s no clear starting point. No universal symptoms. No widely understood roadmap.
For many, it begins with perimenopause — sometimes as early as the late 30s — bringing mood shifts, brain fog, sleep disruption, and hot flashes long before menstruation ends.

Yet, in medical offices, media, and workplaces, menopause is often met with discomfort or silence. This invisibility leads to misdiagnoses, dismissed symptoms, and isolation at a time when support is most needed.

Menopause is not just about hormones — it’s about identity, aging, health, and the right to understand your own body.

🧠 Education changes everything.
šŸ’¬ Conversations break stigma.
šŸ‘€ Visibility empowers choice.

It’s time to stop whispering.
Let’s make menopause visible — for ourselves and for future generations. 🌿

As we approach Juneteenth, we reflect on the significance of June 19th—the day marking the end of slavery in the United States and a celebration of Black freedom and resilience. This historic milestone reminds us of the strength and hope within the Black community, and the ongoing journey toward justice and healing.
We are committed to honoring each person’s story and lived experience is essential for true healing and resilience.
This week, let’s remember the importance of freedom, community, and mental health equity for all.

National Men’s Health Week (June 9–15) is a time to shine a light on the unique mental health challenges men face and to encourage open, supportive conversations. At Nurture and Nature Therapy Center, we believe that breaking the stigma around men’s mental health is an important step toward greater well-being for everyone.
Mental health matters for men of all ages and backgrounds. Equity in mental health care means making sure every man feels safe, heard, and supported—whether he’s reaching out for help or supporting someone else.
This week, we invite you to reflect on your own well-being and the men in your life. Let’s work together to build a community where asking for support is a sign of strength.
