Most of the time, the most common thing I see patients for is a clogged sweat gland, or a wart on the bottom of their skin.

In this patient, we were concerned for melanoma (skin cancer)

So we decided to perform a biopsy and send it to the lab so we can make sure and find out what it is.

Sometimes, we have to figure out what is causing a skin lesion.

To do that, we remove a piece of the skin and send it to the lab so they can help identify under the microscope.

In this video, I am performing an INGROWN TOENAIL removal.

I am Removing the bilateral border of the toenail because this is what the patient needed.

We also perform a matrixectomy which is where we kill the root of the nail to prevent it from growing again
