Here's a message from our wonderful Barabara Cox!

Hi! 👋

I’m Barbara Cox and currently serve as Treasurer of HTWF and work with the Marketing Committee.

I began my Healing Touch journey when I saw a Facebook ad for a Level 1 class in 2019, when I was looking for ways to help my husband and another Vietnam era veteran who were challenged with tremors which didn't respond to medication.
I had previously worked with a homeopathic MD when struggling with digestive issues later diagnosed as gluten intolerance!

Mating my linear and mathematical brain with the esoteric qualities of Healing Touch has presented me with many challenges and I struggle to plait my Slovak “gypsy” heritage with my Celtic ancestry and my Roman Catholic upbringing. I am now a Level 3 student with no current aspirations toward becoming a practitioner.

I am a licensed, practicing Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maine. I have been employed in both private and public accounting as well as municipal government. I was raised as a Navy “brat” and became a Navy wife, so I have traveled and lived in many places throughout our country and the world before settling in Maine when my husband retired from the service. I have two grown children.

In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, reading, and dabbling in photography. My husband and I travel several times a year – either to visit family or to meet up with friends. 🙂
