On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Bloom Fitness will host its 6th annual Bloom Fitness for All event — a vibrant community celebration that brings together hundreds of Athletes, volunteers, families, and community partners for a day of inclusive fitness, fun, and inspiration.
The event showcases the incredible abilities of our Athletes, highlights the power of inclusive wellness, and shines a light on how fitness can transform confidence and community connections.

Are you a parent of a child (10+) with intellectual or developmental disabilities? We invite you to participate in our research study aimed at helping families plan for the future care of their loved ones.

📋 Participants will randomly get assigned to one of two websites to assist in future planning.
💵 Compensation: Up to $175 for your valuable time and insights after you complete surveys.

You’re Invited to Celebrate a Historic Milestone in Disability Rights!

The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities invites you to join us in honoring a landmark moment in our nation’s history—the35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—at theHouston Disability Celebration on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center (1475 West Gray Street, Houston, TX 77019).

This meaningful celebration recognizes 35 years of advocacy, inclusion, and the unwavering pursuit of equality for individuals with disabilities. The ADA, signed into law on July 26, 1990, paved the way for greater access, representation, and civil rights protections for millions of Americans. This milestone is not just a reflection of how far we've come—but a call to continue the work toward a truly inclusive society.

The event isfree and open to the public, with no RSVP required—just come as you are and be part of this community-wide celebration. The program will feature a powerful lineup of live performances that highlight the talents and voices of Houston’s disability community. Enjoy dynamic musical and cultural showcases from:

The HUBCAPS, Houston’s own disability-inclusive band
Houston Community College’s Sign Language and Interpreting Program, with a moving ASL performance
Theatre Under the Stars, presenting a musical theatre moment that celebrates inclusivity in the arts
Primal Special Forces Cheer, delivering an energetic and inclusive cheer performance sure to inspire
Guests will also enjoy free lunch, resource and vendor booths, networking opportunities, and access to a range of support services—all designed to uplift and empower the disability community in Houston.
