Where is humanity headed?

As I reflect upon what it takes to be fully present and engaged with our lives it's impossible not to ironically be distracted by the fact I am using my phone, watching my TV and focused on sharing my thoughts with individuals who aren't even here with me physically.

Our way of life has changed in many very big ways over the past 30 years and I can't help, but wonder how all of the technology that keeps us from fully engaging with the world around us will alter how we communicate and how we connect with each other.

My hope is we can work to adapt and course correct to limit the negative impact these tools have on us as friends, couples, families and communities.

This is something I believe we can all collectively work to improve starting with ourselves.

Put your phone down, turn off the TV, get off the computer and make an effort to connect with the people and the world around you today my friends

This life isn't a practice run, so go out each day with a mission to find more of what makes you feel complete!

There is so much to experience that you could do something new every single day and never run out of things to do.

Life isn't scripted!

You must have faith in our GOD, listen to your heart, put in the work and take chances to fulfill your mission on this planet 🌎

14 Years ago I remember moving to Clear Lake and one of the first things that intrigued me was seeing one of the Mars Rovers being tested right across the street from my apartments at Johnson Space Center

I felt a sense of curiosity, adventure and possibility as I watched it drive around the make shift "Mars" environment they had designed at JSC

Leaving home at 20 to serve our nation and to explore the world I didn't know where this path would lead, but I can tell you that I am forever grateful it has led me to Clear Lake Texas

This community embraced me and it gave me purpose fulfillment and BIG LOVE in ways that I could have never imagined

I came from a town and geographical area that my family the Trione's helped develop and form much of the structure for and I worked in my father's small business since I was at least 7 maybe even sooner, so I know what a strong connected community can do, but I needed to do it MY WAY as most of you would understand

Houston, Clear Lake, Webster, Nassau Bay, League City, Pasadena, Friendswood, Texas City, Galveston, Kemah La Marque, Dickinson, Seabrook, El Lago and all other Municipalities here in the Bay Area have given me a level of connection and determination that has grown bigger than me and I am 💯% here for it.

Today was my first official Board Meeting as Part of the Board of Directors for the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and I am extremely proud and grateful to have an opportunity to give back to those who are serving this community and those who reside in it.

I want to encourage you to get involved in your community and to lift others up in LOVE with all that you do.

We need you!

It's not easy to build something special and to try and use your life energy to make the world a better place, but it is much more painful for me to sit and watch others suffer and struggle without at least raising my hand and I know many of you feel the same and are doing amazing things for your community.

I have a list of amazing humans who are part of this board, who are just part of our larger business community, My TriFitness Gym Family and My blood family who have shown me what one person can do if they are willing to put on the work

I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has given me any sort of support over the past 41 years and I want you to know that every ounce of LOVE and ENERGY you have shared with me will be compounded 10x over for as long as there is a breathe in my body.

I don't know what the future holds, but I know I will face it with LOVE, Faith, Patience, Respect, Kindness and Determination to bring GODS love and will to the surface in every interaction I have.

You my friend are a GIFT FROM GOD and I can attest to that 100 times over. Don't hide your heart or dampen your spirit any longer.

The world needs the full, authentic and engaged version of you now more than ever.

If you need anything please shoot me a message or just say a prayer and I can promise you that GOD will handle the rest.

I'm just lazy and out of shape 😔

I hear this nearly every time someone walks into my gym or joins my virtual coaching program, but it's seldom true!

The truth is, it's hard to get excited about living a life you have no ownership of or input on how things will go on a daily basis

If you followed the common path and fulfilled what you thought were the right goals, but never put any deep forethought in or changed your life to fit your needs then you are not living YOUR life and unfortunately this means your needs aren't going to be met if you maintain this path

It's very common for me to see people who are living comfortable, lucrative and stable lives while still being bored, uninspired and unfulfilled. This is almost the norm 😔

Working with the 50+ population I also see so many people who are yearning to get their physical capabilities and zeal for life back, but they are so far past that feeling that honestly they don't even know what it feels like to have inspired, excited, and passionate energy that comes from a life primed for living

As a coach I know that every one of us has something deep down that drives us either toward or away from what we really want out of life and at some point our existence begins to mirror what we are using as our internal drivers

Think real hard for a second and tell me whether fear or faith is guiding your life, are your decisions based off love or hate, are you waking up thinking about the possibilities or the obstacles?

There is always an option to choose your OWN path an become the architect of your life, but it will require you to make more choices that lead you to what fulfils you and not care to appease anyone or anything else

This is hard because people, places, and things may have to be limited or maybe even left out, but here is the truth.

When you design your life and live it the way you see fit, you will discover what you really need to remain content and the people that love you will be there for you no matter who you are.

This will allow you to be your most AUTHENTIC and connected self no matter what!

The possibilities are endless!

We literally have the opportunity to decide each day what we are going to do with our life.

You can pivot 180° if you really want to and live in a van in the middle of the woods. No one, but yourself can make the final decision.

Get curious, explore your world and believe in the magic that is waiting for you around the next corner.

It's easy to identify all of the obstacles and reasons it won't work, but it takes faith and resilience to believe it will work and push through.

I encourage you to build a life of faith and fortitude instead of a life of fear and failure.

Take the first step today my friends and trust the process.

As, I reflect upon my life and mission as a Retired Veteran I can't help, but feel as if there is still so much more to do.

We are still at a critical point in the progression and cohesion of our nation and our species as a whole in my opinion and I plan to be part of the solution

One person isn't going to be able to provide the ultimate solution, but we can all be a small part of the larger movement that brings us to a loving and respectful way of life to move ahead

I want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single one of you who have served and to those who have supported those who have served.

We all need a supporting cast and that includes our Veterans. There are many ways that we are failing this population, but there are also many critical organizations doing amazing things and we have been blessed to support many of them

I encourage you to keep stepping up and leading the way my friends we can and will overcome the many hurdles that stand between us and the world we all deserve to live in.

Everyone is capable of serving others greatly!

As we reflect upon this Veteran's Day 2025 I want to highlight not only all of the selfless human beings who have dedicated their lives to serving this great nation, but on this anniversary of the passing of my service hearted mother I wanted to recognize all of those who are serving others with their lives.

It doesn't take a special platform from which to stand on or a high social status to serve. Serving others is the way you treat your co-workers, the way you speak to your spouse and how you instill values in your children.

I now understand why my mom was always so positive and happy to serve others. It is the most rewarding thing you can do for yourself and for those you are blessed to spend time with..

I am beyond thankful for my time serving in U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Coast Guard Reserve and at TriFitness Gym each and every day. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you can make an impact in the lives of others with your own life.

Today on this Veteran's Day I urge you to seek out those who are service hearted in your life and let them know you appreciate their effort and you are thankful for their service.

I'm grateful every day to serve you all no matter how small it may be and I wouldn't change this path for anything.

Find it in your hearts to serve others today my friends!

We carry the despair and feel the pain, but we're lost😔

When you have chosen to use your one precious life to be of service to those in need it can be difficult when those you yearn to help are so deeply scarred, misled and distracted that they refuse to open up at all

Day after day we're facing resistance and ridicule while fighting to share love and lead us all to the light🔦

It's not easy showing up time after time to be of help only to be judged and disregarded as the outsider and enemy, but I have faith that our God will help us to persevere and find the way forward

I believe we are truly at a crossroads and every single one of us understands that something has to change, but what exactly is the answer and how do we bring all of our differences to the table openly, so that we may begin to collaborate and move forward in a cohesive and holistically progressive manner to live in harmony

LOVE ❣️

Is my guiding principle, hope in humanity and faith in the ultimate healer our God fuels my actions

We are meant to live cohesively and harmoniously sharing the gifts that we each innately were born with

Spending our days lifting those up around us in need when we're more fortunate while also receiving support from others when we're in need

The train has gotten off of the rails in many ways and our lives seem to be filled with distractions and task lists rather than relationships and discoveries

Please Please Please learn how to open up to cohesive conversation and meaningful connections that will lead to a better life for us all

Be curious and optimistic about what you could discover about others and then brainstorm the possible ways you could collaborate to create amazing things that will propel us forward as a species.

The answers you find aren't always going to go 100% your way and you WILL have to evolve some of your ways of life, but this should be exciting and exhilarating if you are working on something special and significantly impactful for the 🌎

I encourage and urge you today my friends to aim at seeing the world as an US TOGETHER rather than a US vs. THEM approach
