"I was at a family gathering when I noticed my cousin suddenly collapse on the patio. Panic set in as I rushed to his side and checked for a pulse—nothing. Remembering my CPR training, I called for help while starting chest compressions.

With each push, I counted out loud: "One, two, three..." After 30 compressions, I tilted his head back and gave him two rescue breaths. Just as I began another round of compressions, he coughed and gasped for air! Relief flooded over me as he opened his eyes.

Thanks to my quick action and CPR skills, my cousin's life was saved that day. It reinforced how vital it is to be prepared for emergencies."
