Since coming to congress it has been my honor to open the doors of my offices in the district, and Washington D.C., to current or recent college students with an interest in public policy. This week, I would like to recognize our summer class of interns and thank them for their dedicated service to the 15th District of Texas!
First up, Hannah Orendain. Hannah is a native of McAllen, Texas and a student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. At Baylor, Hannah studies political science with a concentration in pre-law, and a minor in poverty studies and social justice. She is the Public Relations Chair for the university’s Pre-Law Society and a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. After graduation, Hannah plans to attend law school and return to South Texas to practice. In D.C., Hannah expressed an interest in immigration, education, and national security issues. Thank you, Hannah, for interning in Washington, D.C.! I wish you continued success on your path to serve your community!
