Meet your favorite scientist, healer and modern day shaman: Kris Rose, a small-town fleur chile' with huge ambition, drive, passion, and an even bigger heart. Kris holds a degree in Chemistry from Louisiana State University (2014) and have transitioned from the industrial field as a Chemist to focus on holistic wellness. After five years in the industrial sector, she realized its very detrimental impact on the environment and poor health of the general public, prompting her shift to a path of healing and wellness. Kris was known as the "medicine woman" while working at the plant, she was the go-to person for herbal remedies, nutritional, and fasting advice. Her coworkers often told her, "You need to open a health and wellness business!" Inspired by these words, she took a leap of faith to take several years of travel, study, and extensive training to become an ordained minister, herbalist, and energy healing practitioner. Combining her education and skills, she founded Kum-Ba-La, a spiritual/holistic miracle wellness center aimed at providing wellness and self-healing practices to the community. The center focus is wellness for all; everyone can use some form of healing, so she welcomes all ages and walks of life into her center. The name Kum-Ba-La means Eternal One/God, reflecting our mission to heal, share love, and connect people to the heart of God’s universal Love.
