She has been practicing in west Houston for over 20 years. She is qualified to treat both adults and children of all ages. She opened her private practice, Allergy,Sinus & Asthma Professionals, in June 2009. She left large group practice where she was a Partner for 8 years in order to return to the personalized style that emphasizes the relationship based on trust that develops over the years betw

een patients and their personal allergist. Dr. Dickens is a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and currently is the President of the Greater Houston Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society. She is affiliated with the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Dickens received her education from Mississippi State University. She went to medical school at the University of Texas at Houston. Next she served her residency and fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine. Her fellowships included studies in pediatric pulmonology, allergy and immunology.
