Your spine isn’t just a column of bones—it’s a living, responsive part of your body that shifts with your breath, hormones, emotions, and the seasons of your life.

When your spine is flexible, your whole system moves with more ease:
🌬️ You breathe deeper
💃 Your posture feels natural
🫀 Organs have room to function
🌀 Emotions release instead of being stored

But when your spine stiffens, you might feel stuck—physically and emotionally.

Good news? Gentle, intentional movements throughout your day make a big difference.

10 Ways to Mobilize Your Spine Today

1. Spinal Waves – Stand or sit and ripple your spine like a wave, tail to head.
2. Cat-Cow Stretch – On hands and knees, alternate arching and rounding.
3. Bridge Rolls – Lie down, roll your spine up into a bridge, one vertebra at a time.
4. Seated Twist – Sit cross-legged and gently twist to each side.
5. Foam Roll Your Upper Back – Slowly and mindfully roll out tension.
6. Backbend Over a Towel – Place a rolled towel under your mid-back and breathe.
7. Hang From a Bar – Even 20 seconds of passive hanging can decompress your spine.
8. Side-Lying Windmill Arms – Lie on your side and circle your top arm around.
9. Barefoot Walk on Grass – Let your feet awaken your spinal reflexes.
10. Freeform Dance or Shaking – Let your body move intuitively, spine included.

Start with a few of these and feel your body thank you.👇
Save for later and share with your friend.

Happy mobilizing,

Elene

The female body is cyclical, dynamic, and highly responsive to the various changes in a woman’s life.
Osteopathic Manual Therapy works in harmony with these rhythms to restore balance, reduce strain, and promote long-term vitality. Instead of managing symptoms in isolation, OMT takes a whole-body approach that honors the wisdom and design of the female body.

Our lives were forever transformed! We spent six days in Woodland Park, Colorado at the Summer Family Bible Conference.

If you desire to grow in faith, encounter God, experience and witness miracles, you need to go with your family next year! It’s completely FREE! They have a program for kids 5-12 and Youth Ministry 13-17.

Our kids loved it so so much! They experienced God’s power, were immersed in His Word, and made new friends who also love Jesus. ♥️

We all were challenged in our faith through the preached word of God, witnessed healings, such as deaf ears opened, spoke to many people who’s lives were radically transformed by this ministry and so much more. You need to go!

We didn’t do much sightseeing, because that was not why we came. We are hungry for God and we were filled! 🔥🔥🔥

Small shifts that support big changes:

1. Nasal breathing is non-negotiable.

✅ Gently remind: “Lips together, breathe through your nose.”
🎯 Use visual cues—point to your own nose and model it
🎲 Make it a game: “Let’s see who can keep their lips closed the longest!”
🧸 Try nasal strips at night (if age-appropriate)
🧼 Keep nasal passages clear with saline rinses or steamy showers
💧 Hydrate well—dry mouths = mouth breathing

2. Support Healthy Tongue Posture

🌟 Encourage “tongue up, lips closed, breathing through the nose”
🫵🏼 Practice saying “Nnnn…” and ask: “Can you feel where your tongue touches? That’s where it should rest.”
💤 Monitor during screen time, car rides, or sleep—these are common times posture drops
✨ If your child struggles with this, consider seeing a myofunctional therapist.

3. Make Chewing a Jaw Workout

💡 Simple swaps that make a big difference:
- Swap soft snacks for chewy textures (steak strips, jerky, raw carrots, apples)
- Encourage chewing on both sides of the mouth
- Avoid frequent pouches and mushy foods
- Add resistance snacks like dried fruit, crusty bread, or nuts (as age-appropriate)

💪 Strong chewing = strong jaws = more room for the tongue and airway.

4. Create an airway-friendly sleep space

🛏️ Elevate the head slightly (toddler and up)
🌬️ Use a cool-mist humidifier if air is dry
🧸 Encourage side or back sleeping
🕯️ Minimize dust, synthetic fragrance, and clutter
💤 Non-toxic bedding & pajamas
🪟 Use a HEPA filter or open windows when weather allows

5. Build Your Airway Support Team

🔍 Look for airway-aware providers like:
– Myofunctional Therapist
– Airway-Focused Dentist
– ENT
– Bodyworker (like me!)
– IBCLC (for little ones)
– Orthodontist with airway training

📩 DM me “SUPPORT” and I’ll send you a checklist with trusted directories, provider types, and accounts to follow.

Share this with your mom friend who doesn’t know where to start.

Warmly,

Elene

You did the stretches.
You tried the release.
You followed the plan.
But something still felt… incomplete.

If no one has told you this yet—
it’s not your fault.
And your child isn’t a checklist to complete with things to fix.

Real healing isn’t about fixing one thing.
It’s about seeing how everything connects.
Breathing. Feeding. Posture. Sleep. Emotions. Nervous system.
All of it.

When we support the whole body, we unlock the kind of healing that lasts.

And I’m here for just that!

Tag a parent who needs this reminder today.

Elene

👉🏽What to do when you’ve been given fear-based advice about your child’s health:

1. Pause and breathe.
Fear clouds clarity. Try not to make important decisions out of fear. Take time to calm down.

2. Seek second (and aligned) opinions.
Not every practitioner shares the same philosophy. Look for someone who values whole-child, root-cause care and gives hope, not panic.

3. Ask questions:
- What are the next steps we can take?
- How can we support the body’s ability to adapt?
- What is urgent vs. what can be watched with care?

4. Trust your intuition.
If something feels off—even if the provider is well-credentialed—it’s okay to keep looking for the right fit.

5. Focus on what is working.
Track small wins, improvements in sleep, feeding, posture, regulation. Celebrate progress, not perfection.

6. Build your support team.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Connect with airway-aware, body-centered providers who work collaboratively, not fearfully.

7. Remember—your child is not broken.
Delays, dysfunctions, or diagnoses don’t define your child. The body can change. Hope is not naïve—it’s empowering.

🌟 In my practice, I hold hope because I know how resilient children’s bodies are.
No pressure. No panic. Just presence, progress, and possibilities. 🌟

Warmly,

Elene

You don’t have to know all the puzzle pieces.
If you’re feeling unsure about your baby’s breathing, feeding, or development—there’s a reason. And there’s help.

I work closely with other airway-focused providers to help you build the team your child needs. This isn’t about more appointments. It’s about the right ones.

You are not alone in this. I’m here to help you begin.
