Often when doing core exercises we so easily neglect those obliques!
Next time you’re just hanging out in a plank (because we all just randomly hang out in planks) add hip dips to get those obliques working!

Two important things to note here that will help improve your triangle pose too.
🔸 Once the hips are down, keep them down. One of the initial goals of the posture is to open the hips. This will help!
🔸 Notice the upper body doesn’t collapse. Think to yourself “constant stretching, no collapsing!” Stretching the upper body by broadening the space between your shoulder blades will ensure you stretch safely and maintain the lift so you can create a big gap triangle between your side body and thigh.

#TipTuesday: Want to build a strong upper body? ✋ Push-ups will do it, but do them the right way for maximum effectiveness. Learn how with these tips. 👇
🔸 Maintain the neutral space between the ribs and hips as you lower down and press up.
🔸 Keep the shoulders and wrists in the same plane.
🔸 Position the arms as instructed based on the style of push-up you are doing.
🔸 Keep the back of the neck long (don’t drop your head down!) as you lower and lift.
🔸 Notice that you don’t sink into the low back, so concentrate on pulling the low belly in more as you get closer to the mat.
