Welcome Annette, our new Clinical Director at Harmony Grove Behavioral Health
Annette Martinez, LCSW-S, CEAP, is the Clinical Director at Harmony Grove Behavioral Health. With 30 years of experience, she is an expert in treating a wide range of behavioral health disorders, including substance use, PTSD, and family crises. Annette provides culturally sensitive, ethical, and client-centered care.
She is trained in advanced therapeutic modalities like EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and trauma-informed CBT and yoga. As a specialist in crisis management, Annette offers crucial support to employers and first responders. She also provides clinical supervision for social workers.
Annette's leadership and dedication have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Lifetime Social Worker Award from the NASW Gulf Coast Chapter, the Distinguished Service Award from Rotary International, and the President's Cabinet Award from the University of Texas Medical Branch.
She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She has also volunteered on the Galveston County Fire Fighter's Association CISM Team and was the Executive Board Secretary for the Houston Chapter of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals. For fun, Annette enjoys time with her family and pets. For self-care, Annette participates in yoga, walking meditation, and practices her faith.
