After earning her LMSW, we were thrilled to officially welcome her to our clinical team!

Grace’s work focuses on self-image, family of origin dynamics, and sexuality in relationships—bringing compassion and curiosity to every session.

Meet Allena Flores, LMSW!
Allena joined Champion Counseling in March 2024 and hit the ground running—providing individual and group therapy through our partnership with .

In just a few months, she’s already made a meaningful impact, working with teens and adults who want to better understand their anxiety, relationships, and patterns that no longer serve them.

We’re so glad to have her on the team! 💛

Champion Counseling has expanded in 2025! I’m providing LCSW supervision to two talented and dedicated LMSWs! I wanted to share this latest post from Allena Flores, LMSW. She is seeing Texas teachers at a reduced rate this Summer. Zoom or in person at our office in Houston’s Rice Village.

So proud of these three incredible graduate students from the University of Houston-College of Social Work! They’ve officially graduated and completed their internship with Champion Counseling and I’ll Have What She’s Having (June 2024 – May 2025). It’s been an honor to witness their growth, compassion, and dedication. Can’t wait to see the difference they’ll make as they launch their careers as social workers!

Today was Industry Group at Equal Parts Brewing. We have been meeting monthly for over a year and have served more than 120 food and beverage industry workers. For many who have attended they will tell you that it’s the best 1 1/2 hours out of their day. Next group Monday, September 23rd ~ 11:30am
