Should I Combine Liposuction With Another Body Contouring Surgery?

Liposuction is performed with nearly all body contouring procedures to reduce and shape the desired treatment area.

While liposuction can remove excess fat, it cannot tighten or eliminate sagging skin. This is why liposuction is not always a viable alternative to body contouring procedures like tummy tuck surgery or a lower body lift.

Patients with excess fat and loose skin would benefit from liposuction and a skin excision procedure.
